Beiliang Education and Training Center, founded on Sep. 30, 2006, aims to offer high-quality multi-level professional programs by taking advantage of Beiliang port and optimizing the educational resources from related parties, such as university and college, research institute, grain & oil association, etc.

The mission of the center mainly consists of the following items:
✼ To carry out the occupational education and training plan of State Grain Administration
✼ To perform the scientific research projects in the field of grain and oil
✼ To profile specialized teaching material for occupational training
✼ To offer occupational skill testing, such as quality inspector,  warehouseman, technician, etc.

The center, on the other hand, will serve as a platform, facilitating the conversion of advanced technology into productivity as well as the promotion for domestic and international academic exchange.

As far as the disciplinary orientation and training method are concerned, the center, committed to the principle of "combing theory with practice and fostering applicable professional", adopts modern means to offer up-to-date and systematic programs for the trainees.

Now Beiliang base of China Grain Research and Training Center has been established. The distance education network and a series of high-level seminars have also been set up by stable cooperation with Tsinghua University. A great diversity of programs are available, including enterprise management, civil and commercial law, computer technology, English, etc. 

To offer access to applicable expertise, the center has set up 42 practice stations in the port and Northeast hinterland, involving transportation, processing, handling, storage, automation, information technology, etc.

The center, under the guidance of State Grain Administration and China Grain Research and Training Center, will make great efforts to build a modern education base and contribute to the sustainable development of national grain industry.
